Giucy Giuce - My Artist’s Residency Experience/Trunk Show

2024 was a truly transformative year for Giuseppe Ribaudo of Giucy Giuce. In the Spring, he was given the tremendous opportunity of attending his first artist's residency. With his first solo exhibition slated for July of the same year, Giuseppe went into the residency on a mission to sew as much as possible. But what he discovered about his process and his creativity would prove to be evermore valuable that any of the quilts he made that Spring. In this lecture, Giuseppe takes you on the year's long journey that led to a rekindled love of sewing and a deeply personal understanding of the creative process.
