Shirley Chisholm ran for president in 1972, the year I was born. It is difficult not to think of what our world could have been someone so ethical had sat in the office that Richard Nixon won instead.

This is the second memoir in our quartet, and a different type of book than any we've talked about before. I'm looking forward to the discussion.
