Abraham Lincoln Impersonator to appear at Little White Schoolhouse
The Birthplace of the Republican Party Museum will host a special appearance by Abraham Lincoln impersonator Fritz Klein on Saturday, August 16 at 2:00 PM at the Little White Schoolhouse in Ripon, Wisconsin.
Klein’s powerful presentation, sponsored by Craig & Katie Culver, will explore Lincoln’s opposition to slavery and his role in the founding of the Republican Party. Known for his compelling and historically grounded portrayals, Klein brings Lincoln’s values—integrity, equality, and perseverance—to life on stage.
A nationally recognized actor and speaker, Klein has been featured on the History Channel, Discovery Channel, and National Geographic, among many others. Since 1981, he has become one of the country’s most respected Lincoln interpreters, performing in more than 250 events each year, including historical reenactments, educational programs, and film productions.
During his performances, Klein stays true to both himself and the character of Lincoln by avoiding the influence of other impersonators. Instead, he draws directly from Lincoln’s life and legacy, highlighting key themes such as the fight against slavery, Lincoln’s rise from poverty, and his unwavering honesty. He also emphasizes the president’s core values: integrity, equality, and a strong work ethic.
The event will be held at the Little White Schoolhouse Museum, located at 1074 W. Fond du Lac Street, Ripon, WI, in celebration of the 171st anniversary of the Republican Party’s founding on March 20, 1854. Admission is free and open to the public.
