Woodsview Out-of-School Activity Centre Ltd, Ringwood
Welcomes you to our first Woodblock Printing Workshop
On
Saturday 30th August 2025
From 9.30 – 10.30 am
Woodsview Block Printing Workshop provides an opportunity for children aged 5-12 to leave their devices at home and explore their creativity while producing a practical and aesthetically pleasing apron or book bag. Besides enhancing creativity, children practise fine motor skills, problem-solving skills, and build patience, independence and focus. Spatial awareness and fabric knowledge are additionally gained. With the guaranteed completion of the piece of work, children will develop a sense of accomplishment, further promoting their personal growth.
Setting the textile paint after printing
After designing and completing the production, we leave the printed apron or book bag to dry for at least 24 hours.
After 24 hours, we iron the back of the garment to set the paint. We take care to keep the steam-less iron at a high temperature, and iron for at least 4-5 minutes to ensure the paint has set.
Washing Instructions
Washing machine 30-40 degrees on a short cycle.
Do NOT use bleaching properties.
The dye does not run, but it will fade over time.
