Ayurveda - How to Eat Well
Join us for an evening with our speaker, Penny Spurr, author of “Ayurveda, How to Eat Well”. Ayurveda is a traditional medical system originating from Ancient India and offers benefits like enhanced digestion, improved metabolism, and a reduction in stress and inflammation, promoting overall well-being and creating balance and harmony in your life.
Penny will share her knowledge about how the five elements (ether, air, fire, water and earth) are made up in our bodies as the Doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) and in the food we eat through the six tastes (sweet, sour, salt, pungent, bitter and astringent).
