GRAVEL RIDE - 38km_23 Miles - Old Station tearoom, Homsley
A short but very sweet NMCC Gravel route loop.
Thursday 7 August 2025 - Gravel Ride starts from the usual FREE Burley car park.
Meet up in car park at 9.15am
Ride starts at 9.30am - Concludes back in Burley approx 1.30pm
Midway comfort break at Rhinefield WC
Coffee/Cake break at Old Station Tearooms - Holmsley.
(Optional Caffine top up back at Shappens - Burley)
This is at a Social pace; Speed: 8-12 mph social pace.
Lots of gravel and single tracks with some short cheeky climbs - small distances on back lanes/roads - no major roads (apart from one that we cross over). Suitable for Hybrid, MTB, CX, Gravel bikes, e-bikes 🙂

IMPORTANT STUFF BELOW
We will be stopping on the ride for people to rehydrate and eat as required. (If you need food whilst on the ride - we will stop as a group for you to refuel.)
Please wear a helmet and have a bike that is in road worthy state and you need to know how to repair a flat tyre but plenty of people will be willing to help.
A spare inner tube and repair kit, plus a fully working compatible pump, a drink plus food to eat whilst on the ride is a good idea too.
This is a NMCC Gravel Group ride.
It's not a, RACE, SPORTIVE, TIME TRIAL or any such competitive event.
