Ribbon Cutting: StoryWalk at McCall Park

Join Live Oak Public Libraries and the Effingham County Board of Commissioners to celebrate the grand opening of the StoryWalk® at McCall Park!

This new, family-friendly trail combines reading, movement, and the outdoors with oversized storybook pages displayed along a winding path. Stories will change quarterly, making each visit a fresh adventure.

The first featured book is The Soil in Jackie’s Garden by Peggy Thomas, illustrated by Neely Daggett. A special storytime will be hosted during the event, plus light refreshments and info on library programs.
