妳না/nyi.na & Vidden

妳না (pronounced nyi.na) ; a post-millennium noise duo operating at the intersection of electroacoustics, sound/voice/performance and occasional folklore ~

Formed by two4.41139 (Bangladesh/NL) and Sofi Xian (China/NL/USA), 妳না experiments with overlooked electronic textures, tonal undertones, and fractured harmonic patterns, interwoven with vocal practices in Bhairavi-scale formations, dissatisfying noise objects, and an obscure folk tension, forming an irregular electroacoustic language.

Vidden is a Bergen based artist, dj, live performer and event curator navigating the liminal spaces between experimental and dance music. His music foregrounds the live-wire hardware approach to his live performances. The materials he uses will include recordings from his collection of audio tapes, which is broadly focused on source materials and the creative manipulations of their sonic qualities to create a richly textured soundscape.
