Latvian Kendo federation would like to invite you to international Kendo tournament & seminar “Yumura Cup
2025” which will be held in Riga on July 12th – 13th, 2025.
There will be following competition categories:
Children individual championship:

Examination
Dan grading’s will be held from 1st dan to 3rd dan.
Prices: Application /Registration/ Altogether
1st dan 15 € 20 € = 35 €
2nd dan 20 € 30 = 50 €
3rd dan 30 € 50 € = 80 €
Please pay the Application fee with cash on Friday at the sign-in and the Registration fee on Sunday after a successful grading.
Requirements for participation in the exam session:
For EKF members, Dan examination registrations must be done from EKF system by your country federation officials by July 3rd 2025.
Applications for the exams WILL NOT are accepted after this date!

Information
We are honored and proud that the Masahito YUMURA sensei (Kendo Hanshi, 8 dan) has provided the Cups (Yumura Cup) for first place in the individual tournament.
Regulations of the matches will follow “The Regulation of Kendo Shiai and Shinpan” set by the Federation of International Kendo (FIK).
Individual Men/Women’s tournament with no grade restriction, minimal age: 16.
Ladies teams (3 participants per team).
Mixed teams (3 participants per team).
The organizer reserves the right to modify and adjust the competition schedule if necessary.
The exact program and regulations will be announced on the competition day.
