If you are curious about encaustic painting, this class is for you. If you have taken a class and need a refresher, this class is for you too! In this class we will make our own 6"x6" artworks (more than one!) with encaustic medium and paints. We'll explore various ways to prep a board, how to adjust the opacity of the paints, various ways to add texture, digging in to reveal or fill, adding on, fusing for success and so much more. No experience is necessary — encaustic painting is very forgiving and flexible. And also loads of fun. All materials included!

Registration required by September 8th, 5pm! Please check your email (and Spam folder) the day before/of class in case of unexpected cancellations.
