RHS HOSA Spring Blood Drive 2025

Time: 8AM - 2PM ( The whole donation takes about 1 hour)

Location: Ridgefield High School MAIN GYM

Requirements:

• Must be at least 125 lbs.
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• If you are 16 or 17, you need to fill out a parent permission form; these can be found in Ms. Hemrich's room (140). These must be completed before you donate
• Must be in good health

Other:

• If you are a student who rides the bus, please sign up to donate before 12:30 PM to ensure you have enough time to donate and make it to your bus on time.
• If you are a community member, you MUST sign in at the front office and get a visitor pass before entering the gym to donate blood.
• If you donate, you will not be able to participate in any sporting event day of, and it is highly advised you don't participate the following day either. Students, if you are going to state track, I would not advise donating.
• Please arrive 15 minutes before your donation time with a valid ID
• The entire donation process takes about 45 minutes - 1 hour
• Students, this is marked as an excused absence, but it is not a free way to get out of class. After your donation, please go straight back to class.
• Just a reminder, this years spring drive is in the Main Gym
