Aerhart & Oropendola Album Tour House Show

Aerhart and Oropendola are so thankful to The Booths for hosting us on the third stop of our New England Tour celebrating our recently released records. Come for food, drinks, and a mostly acoustic, certainly cozy summer night of music!

is the project of Amelia Wellers—a classically trained singer and songwriter making vibrant, electronic indie and art pop, with a twinge of folk. Her sophomore album, The Keeper, is a reclamation of personal agency as well as a reckoning with the power imbalances that make it so hard to hold onto it in the first place. Aerhart’s sound invokes cinematic melancholy and lush and expansive experimentation, calling comparisons from Enya to Lana Del Rey, Weyes Blood to Caroline Polachek. Her technical background informs her approach—not in rigidity but in an attention to texture, time, and movement. That deep, nuanced knowledge shines through ‘The Keeper,’ as does Wellers’ fascination with contrasts—intimate and vast, delicate and forceful, organic and electronic, refined and raw. The album is full of counterparts. Birth and death. Secrets and honesty. Loving and letting go.

is the project of Brooklyn-based singer, composer, and keyboardist Joanna Schubert. Her songs draw from keys-based art-pop and indie-folk traditions, moving between the whimsical and the confessional, blending playful dissonance and lyrical storytelling. Oropendola’s newest album Swimming is a piano-vocal collection with a fierce, almost confrontational intimacy, adorned in arrangements that could have been played by a small experimental band of elves, gnomes and fairies. Harkening to inspirations such as Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, and The Roches, the album captures Schubert’s penchant and reverence for unfettered live performance.
