Washington County Fair Dahlia Show

Bring your flowers to show at the Washington County Fair! It’s fun and easy with people to help you figure out how to exhibit. It’s also a practice run for the RI Dahlia Society Show in September.

Find the classes and read the rules in the program (PDF can be found on the home page of our website). Staging flowers starts at 7:00 am Saturday and must be completed by 11:00 so judging can begin. Viewing starts at ~ 3:00 pm ish and all day Sunday. See you there!

Quick tip: You must know the official name and classification number of your dahlia varieties to enter them. It saves time staging your dahlias if you look up the classification number in the American Dahlia Society (ADS) Handbook online on the ADS website. If you have trouble figuring that out, someone will help you at the fair!
