Summer Forage Pickle & Preserve Workshop

Join us for a summer forage, pickle, and preserve workshop, led by Coach House Head Chef, Ross Forder. July is a joyous time on the estate and in this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the art of preserving, watching how to bottle up the best of the season in the months ahead.

After a tour of our two-acre walled garden, you’ll be taught the fundamentals of salting, sweet preserves, and pickling with vinegars. Expect a relaxed, engaging workshop, celebrating our estate-to-plate ethos. You’ll head home with a selection of preserved garden treats and recipe cards – perfect for your pantry or sharing with friends.

Light bites will be throughout, and if you’d like to make a day of it, you can book a table for lunch at the Coach House afterwards.

Please note, do inform the team of any dietary requirements when booking; Lunch is not included in the workshop. We do ask that you wear suitable outdoor footwear and dress for the weather, as we’ll be out in the garden.
