RICHMOND, BC – Sep 2, 2025 Lipont Gallery is delighted to present "Shared Horizons," a new exhibition featuring landscape paintings by established Vancouver-based artists Paul Chizik, Liza Visagie, and Randy Celebrini. The exhibition opens on September 19, 2025, with a public reception from 6 PM to 9 PM during the BC Culture Days (
https://culturedays.ca/en/bc).
"Shared Horizons" brings together three artists who share a deep artistic connection, having previously painted together. While Paul Chizik and Liza Visagie have exhibited at Lipont Gallery multiple times, this marks Randy Celebrini's first joint exhibition with his friends at the gallery. The show will feature a stunning collection of their paintings and drawings, predominantly focusing on the captivating beauty of mountains and forests of British Columbia.
Through their individual perspectives, Chizik, Visagie, and Celebrini invite viewers to immerse themselves in sweeping vistas and intimate woodland scenes. Their canvases capture the ever-changing light, the textured grandeur of peaks, and the quiet mystery of ancient trees. "Shared Horizons" is more than just a collection of beautiful paintings; it is a testament to enduring friendship, the inspiration found in nature, and the power of artistic collaboration. We invite you to experience the diverse yet harmonious interpretations of our natural world through their art.
Visitors will have the unique opportunity to see how three distinct artistic voices interpret similar natural themes, resulting in a rich and diverse viewing experience. The exhibition offers a fresh perspective on familiar landscapes, inviting viewers to explore the intricate details and grand scale of the natural world through the artists' eyes. Each artist brings a unique sensibility to their portrayal of light, atmosphere, and form, making "Shared Horizons" a compelling visual journey.
Special thanks: Esther Celebrini
