About this Event

Hosted by Ceres Policy Research, in partnership with Chevron Richmond Refinery, this Community Town Hall is part of the ongoing agreement with the Air District, aimed at increasing public transparency and engagement related to Chevron’s efforts to minimize flaring and air quality-related regulatory compliance.

Building on conversations from our previous town halls, this meeting invites Richmond residents to stay engaged, informed, and vocal about what matters most in their neighborhoods.

Whether you're interested in flaring, air monitoring, air quality compliance, or general refinery operations, this space is for you.


What to Expect at the Town Hall
  • Flaring activity update from Chevron and overview of ongoing air quality compliance efforts
  • Public Comment Period: Ask questions about the community action plan, the flaring notification process, or anything else on your mind
  • Presentation from Contra Costa County Health and Community Awareness Emergency Response (CAER):Learn what community safety measures you and your neighbors can take during flaring events and other air quality incidents
  • Light dinner & networking with neighbors, health officials, and local leaders
  • Spanish and ASL interpretation available upon request
