Garden of Ukrainian History: A Taste of Culture, Family & Flavour!
A summer festival like no other — where food tells stories.
Get ready for a cozy day outdoors filled with authentic Ukrainian flavours, art, music, family-friendly activities, and a chance to walk through history — literally!
Join us in the peaceful garden setting of London Heritage Farm for a unique cultural food & arts festival inspired by the life and legacy of Ivan Franko — one of Ukraine’s most iconic poets — and his extraordinary family.
🍽️ What awaits you:
- Ukrainian tasting stations featuring traditional recipes from Olha Franko’s 1920s cookbook — the first Ukrainian cookbook ever published in Western Ukraine
- An open-air craft market with local vendors
- A relaxed garden picnic vibe with blankets, folk music & lawn games
- Workshops for kids and adults (quest, crafts, letter writing)
- Evening live music and an outdoor film screening under the stars
- A gentle walk-through exhibit where each garden nook tells the story of a member of the Franko family — poet, chef, feminist, inventor, and more
🎟️ Entry by donation ($5 suggested) — All proceeds go to support humanitarian aid and Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
Bring your friends, and your kids, or come solo — and discover how Ukrainian heritage tastes, sounds, and feels when shared in a garden. Let the stories unfold — one bite at a time!
