Urban green spaces hold powerful, overlooked sources of medicine. Learn to unlock the healing properties of common herbs through a 3-part Autumn workshop series with Paige Leslie, a trained herbalist and Urban Bounty’s Community Programs Manager. Paige will teach three main methods of processing herbs into remedies: vinegar infusions, teas and water-based decoctions, and salves for skincare.
Each workshop will provide hands-on opportunities develop custom remedies from common plants to take home!
1. Turning Wild Herbs into Infused Vinegars (Oct 4, 10:30am-12pm)
2. Teas & Decoctions (Nov 1, 10:30am-12pm)
3. Infused Oils & Salves for Skin Health (Dec 6, 10:30am-12pm)
Cost: $60 each, $160 if you sign up for all three.
