Bryan Girard Quintet

A veteran of the Bay Area jazz scene, saxophonist Bryan Girard has performed in virtually every major venue with many of the region's top musicians.

Bryan has performed with many local and national stars—pianists Frank Martin, Nina Sheldon, Richie Crabtree of the Mastersounds and the late Oakland legend Ed Kelly, guitarists Calvin Keyes (formerly with Ahmad Jamal), Brian Pardo (Stan Getz), Barry Finnerty (Miles Davis), bassist Chris Amberger (Art Blakey), percussionists Danny Spencer (Joe Henderson), David Rokeach (Ray Charles) and Babatunde Lea, as well as prominent vocalists Denise Perrier, Ed Reed, Brenda Boykin, Frankye Kelly, Lavay Smith, Pamela Rose and Maye Cavallaro.
