Beekeeping Basics

Saturday, July 19th | 10am-Noon

Learn about the essentials of beekeeping while also having the opportunity to try on a beesuit and meeting the honeybees up close (optional). Led by Michael West, President of the Eastern Indiana Beekeepers.

Meet in the Turner-Gray Meeting Room.
Members: $3/person | Non-Members: $5/person
Children 12 and under are free (no ticket necessary).

Speaker Profile
Michael is the President of the Eastern Indiana Beekeepers. This non-profit group conducts meetings in the Nature Center of Hayes Arboretum on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. These educational presentations are free and open to all. The Eastern Indiana Beekeepers maintain all 3 observation hives at Hayes Arboretum.
