Norman Roscher returns to offer his special brand of songwriting; humorous, insightful, outrageous, and touching. Opening for Norman are Artist and Songwriter Glenda Creamer, Steve Nuckolls, winner of two VOCAL Awards this year, and Jim Puckett, also a winner in the annual contest.
Glenda Creamer is both a Songwriter and Painter
She says: “In music, when the notes are played individually and sequentially to form a chord, is called an arpeggio. When I paint, I apply one color at a time to form a painting. Altogether the paintings work together to form a show. I hope that you can see how music influences my work.”
Steve Nuckolls
Steve won both Songwriter of the Year and Song of the Year in this year’s VOCAL Song and Songwriting Contest. He has been writing a little over 20 years, mostly from personal experiences. You might hear some influences from his roots in Southwest Virginia, in Galax, Grayson and Carroll Counties. He does a lot of his "writing" mentally while running these backroads, and also those along the Chesapeake Bay. Nothing like a little fresh air to clear out the mental clutter
Jim Puckett
Jim was also a winner of Song of the Year this on the VOCAL Contest. He returns to the VOCAL stage with his special brand of Americana country-folk-rock inspired by Neil Young, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Steve Earle, and more. Filled with imagery that reveals the importance of the simple things in everyday life, Jim brings a strong vocal presence.

Norman is our featured performer tonight, He's an old hippie and he knows just what to do, just go out to the garden and pick some whoop-dee-doo, he's an old hippie but as long as life's serene, he won't try to change nobody, just partake of his garden's tasty greens." I'm an old hippie. Still have a few of those old hippie ideals of peace and love,and now with a touch of hope . life is good.
