August 24th Field Trip- Pine Camp Trails & Smoky Mug

We’re going back to Pine Camp for “take 2” before the leaves fall and hide the stumps and roots again. Meet by the Northside YMCA in the John Marshall HS parking lot. We’ll do a 10k loop that’s mostly trails at Pine Camp with a little cemetery loop mixed in- just like home! Run at your own risk and be careful- we had a lot of falls when we ran here last year, but we think most can be attributed to the leaves covering stumps and roots.

It’s a short drive from John Marshall to the new location of Smoky Mug, where we’ll meet after for coffee and good grub!
