🌳 Morning at the Orchard
Join us at beautiful Hilltop Orchards to kick off our fall homeschool season! We’ll enjoy a guided tour, wagon ride, apple picking, and a fresh cider donut with cider in the gazebo. After the tour, our group will gather for hands-on co-op activities to extend the learning.
🧠 Activities Include:
9:30–10:15 AM – Hilltop Orchards guided experience:
Wagon ride through the orchard
Apple picking (varieties available that day)
Facility tour with orchard guide
10:15–10:30 AM – Cider & donut in the gazebo
10:30–11:30 AM – Co-op activities in the gazebo & lawn:
Nature journaling and orchard sketching
Apple observation sheet
“Parts of an Apple” science mini-lesson
Quick oxidation experiment
Optional read-aloud: The Apple Pie Tree
🧺 What to Bring:
Water bottles & an extra snack if needed
Comfortable walking shoes
Weather-appropriate clothes
Nature journal or clipboard (activity pages provided)
Optional: blanket for picnic seating

Please arrive by 9:15 AM for check-in — tour starts promptly at 9:30 AM.
Parent volunteers welcome to help with journaling and science station.
Siblings welcome; all attending children must be registered.
