On August 16, 2025 Annual Cider Donut Eating Contest, 10 Contestants will have 10 Minutes to chow down
RICHMOND, MA –
Sizzling Cider Donuts in the Summertime? What says Summer more than a picnic table, a donut eating contest, and 10
people devouring for 10 minutes on Hilltop Orchards’ renowned cider donuts?
On Saturday, August 16th at 6:30 pm at Hilltop Orchards in Richmond, Massachusetts, Ten contestants will compete to be the 2025 “No Crumb Left Behind” Cider Donut Eating Champion.
The contestants will have 10 minutes to eat as many cider donuts as possible. The winner will receive bragging rights for a year AND a dozen free cider donuts every month. They’ll also have their photo hung on our farm store wall.
“It’s that time of year again for some fun,” said David Martell. “We’re always thrilled to get great reviews about our cider donuts, so we figured there are some people out there who’d love to consume a whole lot of cider donuts! And who doesn’t want a dozen donuts each month for a year?” The delicious donuts will be made on the afternoon of the contest and will be fresh and soft.
Only 10 contestants will be chosen from all the entrants ( with 2 alternates ). Contestants names will be announced on Hilltop Orchards’ Facebook page on August 10, 2024 at 6:30pm. Please note:

Everyone is welcome to come and watch our event. We encourage people to come early and enjoy Johnny Mash Hard Cider tastings and Furnace Brook Winery tastings, or check out our brand NEW Tap Room featuring local brews, sours, and hard ciders chilled and on tap.
Hilltop Orchards is open seven days a week. Sundays - Thursdays 9am – 5 pm & Fridays & Saturdays 9 am - 6 pm.
