The Commonwealth of Virginia is host to four outstanding heart transplant programs for those in need of surgical treatment for advanced heart failure. However, before they even get to the point of transplantation, their heart condition takes them on a medical journey.
Inova, Sentara, University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, and other local specialists have joined together for the Second Annual Virginia Statewide Heart Failure Symposium to bring you the latest information and data on heart failure. Hear from providers on the latest management and treatments:
• Left Heart Failure
• Right Heart Failure
• Pulmonary Hypertension
• Goal Directed Medical Therapy
• Various Cardiomyopathies
• Adult Congenital Heart Failure
• Cardiogenic Shock
• Mechanical Heart Devices
• Transplantation
Not only will you hear from patients’ perspectives, but you will also get your hands on mechanical support technologies.
Registration is required to attend. Breakfast, lunch, and parking* will be provided upon your registration. Please see agenda link for details of topics and speakers. Continuing Education credits available for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and advanced physician providers (NPs & PAs).
*We are limited in the number of free parking passes we can issue to event attendees. Please register by Friday, September 19th to secure free parking with your registration.
