Posey will be joined for part of the evening by Walter Parks, acclaimed guitarist and former sideman to Richie Havens. Their collaboration bridges generations and musical styles in a set that promises both richness and spontaneity.

With accolades from the University of Missouri’s Creating Original Music Project—including 1st place in 2017 and multiple awards through 2022—Posey’s songwriting is as award-winning as it is emotionally resonant. You may have heard her featured on KWRH radio, where her interviews in 2020 and 2021 gave listeners a glimpse into her creative process and passion for music.
