So being the last 3 schools/towns combined to graduate at McLaurin as a 9th grader in 1981 (see my post of 3 schools joining for McLaurin, Florence & Richland combined '1984' September 28th reunion on my page from August 11th for info/sign-up), us Richland folk were told we would become RANGERS the next year!
September came and I hit the RANGER STADIUM field for 3 years of football battles, having a 7-3 first season! That year and from then on, football players, cheerleaders, band, flag team / dance team and student fans filled those bleachers. Our '84 bunch graduated walking across those hallowed grounds too!
Now, they want us back for September 5th's, re-dedication of a renewed RANGER STADIUM! A $million$ plus, new and beautiful turf field, new stands, new facilities now, but they want US all back plus, similar folks like us from the 1990's, 2000's, 2010's and 2020's. Now surely as the contact for the *GREAT 80's* I want more of us than them to show up, but I'll gladly connect you other decades to come join us. Special section area of tents for all alumni on the field and they want to recognize players, cheerleaders and band members with some shout outs at some point on the loudspeaker once again. Even cutting our price to $5. I'll arrange your held tickets for hopefully a win, but we're gonna have a blast! Comment "your coming" HERE ON MY POST FOR A HEAD COUNT!
