Group and Urban Cycling Skills

One of the biggest hurdles to riding in a group, or navigating a bicycle successfully through different areas of your community is CONFIDENCE. Either due to lack of practice or lack of knowledge.

There are so many new events emerging for cyclists, whether it be road racing, gravel, triathlon etc, and being able to train and ride together, safely - or by yourself, confidently - is so important.

This clinic is for anyone looking to gain skills and practice riding in a group, and in an urban setting. We’ll become familiar with basic safety signals for cyclists, group riding safety and etiquette, some handling tips, and we’ll finish out the clinic with a brief group ride together to practice (it’ll be in a low-traffic area of town).

Bring a rear light a helmet. Aero bars are OK but you will be asked to stay out of the aero bars for all group activities for safety reasons.
