Kouchibouguac's 56th Annual Christmas Bird Count

Kouchibouguac National Park is once again gearing up for another Audubon Christmas Bird Count. 🎄🐦 This year marks the park’s 56th count!

Christmas Bird Counts are a great opportunity to enjoy the fresh air with like-minded birders and nature-lovers, all while collecting useful observation data. It’s a worthwhile effort and a great tradition, representing the longest-running citizen science effort in North America.

This year, our bird count will take place on Thursday, December 18.

Beginners are welcome, and anyone living in Kouchibouguac, Saint-Louis de Kent and Petite Aldouane can even contribute simply by checking their backyard bird feeders during the day of the count.
