In this class, students will learn how to hand sculpt and texture fine silver clay into flower petals, stems, leaves, and bail. They will combine and add these elements onto a fine silver base piece to create a dimensional Sunflower or Dogwood flower pendant. Once fired, students will finish pieces by adding a patina to darken the recessed areas in their pendants, then polish and finish their work to add brilliance and shine. Students will leave with a finished piece of jewelry they can be proud to wear!
Workshop includes one hour break for lunch and firing time.
Materials include 17grams of fine silver clay, shared syringe clay, use of equipment and supplies.
