~ About the Artist ~
Tanner Sweeney founded DeepCreek GlassWorx in 2013 with a torch in hand and a head full of ideas. Named after the area he grew up in in Pennsylvania, the name is a nod to his roots and the path that sparked his love for molten glass. Tanners talent has grown as he has continued to shape, spin, and sweat over each piece – one flame at a time. Tanner has taught a handful of people who have gone on to have successful glass careers of their own in the greater Philadelphia area, occasionally collaborating with other artists as well to create unique art pieces.
