Seefeel (AV/Live) + Loscil + Antonina Nowacka + Hekla í Gamla Bíó Fimmtudaginn 4 September. Viðburður sem enginn ætti að láta fram hjá sér fara. Miðasala inn á midix. Ath. Hátíðarpassi gildir á alla 5 dagana (þ.á.m. Þennan viðburð).
Seefeel (AV/ LIVE) (Mark Clifford will perform an A/V Live set with visuals by artist Dan Conway).
Seefeel signed to Warp Records in 1994 after releasing their acclaimed debut album Quique on Too Pure. Initially associated with the shoegaze sound of bands like My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive, Seefeel’s heavy use of samplers and electronics also linked them to the emerging IDM scene.
Aphex Twin, a fan, remixed their track "Time To Find Me" and encouraged them to release on
his Rephlex label.
Warp co-founder Steve Beckett noted that Seefeel were the first guitar-based band signed to Warp, helping expand the label's identity beyond dance music. Their second album, Succour (1995), leaned into more rhythmic and industrial textures. In 1996, the mini-album (Ch-Vox) on Rephlex showcased even deeper experimentalism, largely crafted by Mark Clifford.
Seefeel built a close relationship with Cocteau Twins, collaborating on remixes and touring together. After a hiatus starting in 1997, the band returned in 2011 with a self-titled album and a new lineup. In 2021, Warp reissued their 1994–96 material as the Rupt & Flex boxset, featuring unreleased tracks and remixes, along with the long-form mixtape Rapture To Rupt mixed by KMRU.

Hekla: Master of the Theremin’s Mysteries
Hekla is a rare specialist of the theremin — a notoriously enigmatic electronic instrument — and belongs to the very small group of musicians who have truly mastered its esoteric art. Classically trained, her playing spans an extraordinary range, from delicate, skittering birdsong to deep, tectonic sub-bass.
Her distinctive sound has earned admiration across the music world. Artists like PJ Harvey have praised her work, often placing her alongside contemporaries such as Colleen, Julia Holter, and the late Jóhann Jóhannsson.
