Formleg opnun Sequences XII: Pása verður haldin í Marshallhúsi þar sem tvær sýningar opna samtímis í Kling&Bang og Nýlistastafninu milli 17:00-19:00 þann 10. Október.
Í Kling&Bang verða tvö verk til sýnis: Field eftir Sigurð Guðjónsson og Tæring eftir Fischersund. Verkin Field eftir Sigurð Guðjónsson og Tæring eftir Fischersund samanstanda af heildrænum, tímabundnum verkum sem bjóða áhorfendum inn í umlykjandi rými kyrrðar og skynjunar.
Á sýningu Fischersund er lykt, hljóði og efnislegum áferðum fléttað saman og hugmyndin um niðurbrot rannsökuð sem umbreyting. Sýningin stillir okkur inn á takt líkamans og andrúmsloftsins. Íhugult myndbandsverk Sigurðar beygir ljós og rúm í nær stöðnun og afhjúpar ósýnilega strúktúra sem ramma inn skynjun okkar.
Í sameiningu skapa verkin rými rólegrar dýptar þar sem hæglæti verður að meðvitaðri aðferð umhyggju og nándar, sem eykur næmni okkar fyrir fíngerðri framvindu tímans.
Sýningin stendur yfir til 23. Nóvember og er aðgengileg á hefðbundnum opnunartímum Kling&Bang.

The official opening of Sequences XII: Pause will take place at the Marshall house with two exhibitions opening simultaneously at Kling&Bang and The Living Art Museum, between 5-7pm on the 10th of October.
At Kling&Bang, two large installations will be presented: Field by Sigurður Guðjónsson and Decay by Fischersund Collective.
In Field, Guðjónsson presents a new immersive video installation, where material, sound, and light converge in a slow, meditative choreography. At the core of the work is an exploration of glass—not as a transparent or decorative object, but as a medium abstracted beyond recognition.
The Fischersund Collective presents an immersive, multi-sensory installation that meditates on the poetics and politics of decay—both as a natural process and a conceptual gesture. Through fragrant sculptural forms that slowly release scent into the space, hand-painted photographs that blur time and memory, textured video works, and looping sound compositions played on analog tape machines, the exhibition creates a tactile, atmospheric environment where decomposition becomes a site of reflection rather than loss.
The exhibition is until 23 November at during opening hours of Kling&Bang in the Marshallhouse.
