Lydia and Matheus have popularized modern Lambada all around the world — known for developing new variations and creative ways to play with Lambada moves.
In this workshop, they’ll focus on how to integrate some of the best Lambada moves and swag into Zouk, with different variations from Desprezadas, Turns, Cambres & Chicotes, and Brazilian Hips.

About Lydia & Matheus
Lydia Engle and Matheus Correa Cenci are a Lambada and Brazilian Zouk couple based in São Paulo. They’ve trained with top instructors like Leo Bruno & Hila and Ariel & Leticia, and now teach internationally, known for their clear technique and innovative approach to Lambada variations.
About Matheus Correa
Matheus has been dancing since 2016 and built a strong Lambada and Zouk community in Florianópolis before expanding to international teaching. His instruction emphasizes biomechanics, musicality, and precise body mechanics, making him a sought-after teacher at global congresses.
About Lydia Engle
Lydia has over six years of partner dance experience, with training in ballet, jazz, heels, and Brazilian Zouk. She co-founded AmoZouk in Minneapolis and now teaches internationally with Matheus, combining solid technical foundations with a wide range of movement styles.
