John-Luke Roberts: It Is Better | RVK Fringe 2025

Award-winning comedian John-Luke Roberts brings a show to Iceland for the first time. “It is Better” is an hour long spoken-word laugh-out-loud comedy show written and performed by JLR, with beautiful music by composer John Chambers - a magical mixture of elegance and idiocy. An absurd reflection on love and loss, “It Is Better” is best enjoyed around a log fire, while long-thought extinct beasts roam through the streets outside. But, failing that, it’s good in a theatre.

John-Luke Roberts is a UK based artist, comedian and writer, named one of the 50 funniest comedians of the 21st Century by The Telegraph. He’s written and performed ten solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and around the world, including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Crap comedy festival in Norway and at the Adelaide Fringe.
