� Vaughan Tamils – SantaFest Parade 2025 �
Vanakkam everyone,
We are joining the City of Vaughan SantaFest Parade, and we warmly invite you and your family to walk with us and represent our Tamil community in Vaughan! Also encourage others to join the Santa fest and be spectators (பார்வையாளர்கள்)
Meeting place: Maple High School
Registration time on parade day: 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM, No one can join after 1:00 PM . Last day to register with us: Friday, November 28, 2025
Registration: If you plan to come, please register with us before Nov 28. After you confirm, we will send you by email:
• � Your parking pass
• � Your waiver form (everyone must sign)
You must bring the signed waiver on parade day and give it to Kannan or Kama.
� Parking & Arrival
• Parking at Maple High School, Joint Operations Centre (Melville Ave) and nearby street parking
• Put the parking pass on your car dashboard
• Melville Avenue closes by 12:30 PM, and there will be a lot of traffic
� Please try to come a little early (by 11:30) so it is not rushed
After you register at the café area, we will all move together to our group spot.
How Vaughan Tamils will look: We want to look like one strong Tamil group:
• All Tamil participants will wear Santa hats �
• We will play Tamil music (clean/family-friendly) on the way
• We will carry our Vaughan Tamils banner proudly in front
• Dress warmly (jacket, hat, gloves, scarf)
� During and after the parade
• We will move from the Springside/Melville area around 2:00 PM
• Parade goes all the way towards the City area
• Refreshments will be served before the parade starts
• Shuttle buses will run from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM to bring people back to Maple High School
