Shyamala Dance Academy
Shyamala Dance Academy specializes in Indian classical Kathak as well as various traditional folk dance forms. Founded and directed by Shyamala, the academy began its journey 14 years ago at Vishnu Mandir in Richmond Hill. What started as a modest initiative with a handful of students has since blossomed into a vibrant institution, now training nearly 100 students annually.
The academy's talented team of dancers has showcased their artistry at prominent events such as the Taste of India, Diwali Festival of Lights, and numerous public and community celebrations across the Greater Toronto Area. Shyamala herself has earned recognition as a distinguished judge at dance competitions and currently serves as a dance instructor for a prominent Indian community organization.

Team SAKURA is a dynamic collective of performers and artists who sing, dance, capture moments, create experiences, and passionately promote Indian folk traditions, mythology, history, and Bollywood culture. Since 2019, they have been actively performing across the Greater Toronto Area, gracing numerous prestigious festivals and cultural events.
