Homeschool families are invited to attend a field trip day on Friday, September 12, from 9:30 am – 4:00 pm. Registration is required.
At the visitor center, explore reading and writing activities from story time with Republic Branch Library or making your own Civil War letters home.
At Ray House, learn more about Missouri state history with activities provided by battlefield staff and volunteers and guests from History Museum on the Square. Ray House tours will be available throughout the day.
Explore the watershed of Wilson’s Creek with park scientists and educators from the NPS Heartland Monitoring Network, Project Learning Tree, and H2Ozarks Cleaner Water Together.
End the circuit by walking the hallowed ground of Bloody Hill to learn more about how soldiers prepared for and fought during the Battle of Wilson's Creek.
