Fence Building Work Party at the Community Garden

Come volunteer with Sustainable Renton!


Our Garden Fence is over 14 years old, and its "rustic charm" is wearing off! Thanks to a Seed Grant from the King Conservation District, we have funding to replace the sides of the fence in the most need of repair!


We will have lots of tasks and will happily accept volunteers of all skill levels! Just bring your passion and a great attitude!

July 19th & July 20th - drilling and setting fence posts

August 9th, August 23rd - setting brackets, cross posts, and cattle wire.

September 19th - finishing up and tearing down of the old fence.
