CODE ORANGE KTA TRAIL CARE : Chuck Keiper Trail

Join KTA Trail Care for a one-day rehab event on the Chuck Keiper Trail! Sproul State Forest and KTA have put great emphasis on whipping the CKT back into stellar hiking shape.

Although this is a one-day work event, camping will be available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at the Panther Run Fire Tower Cabin.

The Chuck Keiper Trail is named after Charles F. Keiper, who was a dedicated conservationist and wildlife law enforcement officer. The trail, located in the Sproul State Forest, is approximately 47 miles in length and is organized into an eastern and western loop.
