Tomatoes 101 Gardening Workshop

As the weather warms up, we start dreaming of summer's most delicious bounty, TOMATOES!

Tomatoes are a classic crop, but they can be tricky to start, grow, and get to fruit in our high desert climate.

In this workshop, we'll dive into all the nuances of growing this special red fruit including top varieties for Northern Nevada, frost protection, fertilization and fruiting.

Everyone will go home with tomato seedlings to prepare for the final Reno frost (aka snow melting off Peavine Mountain) and getting your garden off to a great start!
