Kids Yoga

This class uses yoga sequences, songs, stories, and games to teach young kids life skills via the fundamentals of yoga. We will work to deepen the mind-body connection while strengthening motor skills and balance. We will incorporate breathing and relaxation exercises and sometimes even create mindful crafts! Together we will learn and practice self-regulation techniques that students can apply in their everyday lives. Participants will be exposed to yoga philosophy through stories & myths, learn sanskrit pose names, and explore other connections to the long tradition of yoga on the Indian subcontinent.
