Free Range Neighbors

Join the Neighbor Network of Northern Nevada (N4) for a free evening of food, drinks, and good conversation. This is a chance to meet neighbors, share what you’re good at, get support when you need it, and learn how N4’s no-cost Time Exchange and Volunteer Village work.

We’ll start with a quick, low-key intro to N4, then jump into a fun “speed connecting” activity where you’ll chat with other neighbors about:

• Skills or services you’d enjoy sharing
• Support you might appreciate receiving
• How (or if!) you’d like to plug into the Time Exchange or Volunteer Village

You can volunteer only, give and receive help, or just come to learn more. Totally your call.

By the end of the night, we’ll share next steps and upcoming orientation dates if you want to keep going. Not tech savvy? No worries. We’ve got friendly tech buddies who can help.

Come as you are. Stay as long as you like. Leave a little more connected.

A. N4’s Time Exchange is a free, inclusive community time bank where neighbors give and receive services without exchanging money. Q. What is Volunteer Village?

A. The Volunteer Village offers flexible, customized ways to volunteer that fit your skills, interests, and schedule. Choose how you want to help, from responding to Time Exchange requests and earning school or work hours to supporting N4 events, partners, and programs . No cost. No pressure.

Q. How can I participate?

A. You can volunteer through the Volunteer Village, give and receive help through the Time Exchange, or start slowly by attending an orientation and meeting neighbors. However you choose to participate — or if you just want to learn more — there’s no pressure.
