Artist Reception: The Honeycomb Project

The Honeycomb Project: A metaphor for the interconnectedness, collaboration and strength found within a community.

Reno artist and Truckee Meadows Community College professor Candice Garlock’s Honeycomb Project is a collection of 900 panels created by 500 participants from 14 states. This project spanned the course of a year, from Aug. 2024 to Aug. 2025, and includes artworks contributed through workshops, professional conferences, and individual submissions.
