- Preventing burnout and compassion fatigue.
3. Trauma-Informed Organizations
- How organizational contexts can perpetuate trauma
- Characteristics of a trauma-informed/trauma-aware organization
- Organizational examples in which participants recommend trauma-informed changes
About the Facilitator:
Marlene (she/her) is an occupational therapist and mental health facilitator who has been working with people across the lifespan for over two decades. With frontline and leadership roles in the non-profit sector, education, and healthcare she has gained a deeper understanding, from first-hand experience and through supporting teams, about the diverse challenges faced by care providers.
