Celebrate the Sweetness of Summer at Our Peach & Apricot Festival!
Step into the heart of summer at Over the Hill Orchards’ Peach & Apricot Festival, a juicy celebration of some of our innovative in-house grown fruits! Nestled in the scenic Qu’Appelle Valley just northwest of Regina, our family-run certified organic orchard has spent years perfecting fruit varieties that flourish on the prairies.
On August 2, from 10 AM to 3 PM, join us for a day of peach- and apricot-inspired fun, flavour, and family-friendly activities!
Festival Schedule
10 AM - 3 PM | Peach Picnics
11 AM| Storytime with Lumsden Public Library: Join the Lumsden Public Library at the orchard for a peach-perfect morning of stories, songs, and creativity! Kids and families are invited to settle in under the prairie sky for a charming peach-themed story time, a fun sing-along, and a sweet little craft to take home — all inspired by everyone’s favourite fuzzy fruit.
11 AM| Balloon Twister onsite: Add a little twist to your Peach Festival day! Stop by and watch the magic as our balloon twister creates colourful, whimsical balloon animals, hats, and more — right before your eyes. 🎈 $5 per balloon creation
1 PM | Live Entertainment
2:00 PM | DIY Fruit-Inspired Tote Bag Stamping: Get creative at the Peach & Apricot Festival with our DIY fruit-inspired tote bag stamping craft! Use fun fruit-shaped stamps, or free hand your masterpiece with vibrant colours to design your own reusable tote bag — perfect for carrying home your festival goodies. $15/person
3:30 PM | Wine Tasting: Sip your way through the orchard with a special peach and apricot wine sampler, crafted just for the festival! Enjoy a guided tasting that takes you from dry to sweet, showcasing our range of in-house peach and apricot wines — all with a spectacular prairie view. Discover your perfect fruit-filled pour! $25/person
