Did you know? Oskana and Wascana both originate from the Cree word meaning “Pile of Bones,” which was used to refer to the area now known as Regina.

We’re excited to announce a celebration of our city’s Indigenous heritage and culture.

Join us on August 16 for Oskana Day.

📍 Legislative Landing in Wascana Centre
🕒 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Activities include:

☀️ Tipi display and set up demonstration
🏃 Traditional Indigenous games with Nature Saskatchewan
🔍 Discovery table with the Royal Saskatchewan Museum
🎨 Crafts for the kids
