Everything is Fine Here is a bildungsroman in which a younger sister navigates the challenges of family and societal pressures in order to stand in solidarity with her older sister, who is gay, in a country where queerness is criminalized.

The Books and The City

Times are hard for independent bookstores. Facing a mountain of debt and an uncertain future with her own small business in Saskatchewan, Annabel Townsend sets out on a mission in the big city: to visit as many bookstores as she can, to find camaraderie amongst fellow booksellers, and hope for the future of the industry.

Iryn and Annabel will be joined by Tara Dawn Solheim.

Tara Dawn Solheim explores language, poetry and song. Her original creations integrate poetry and a cappella singing in performance. She spent five years in Japan where she performed extensively with several music collectives. You can also find her spinning music as a DJ or out in nature creating poetry films.
