BEN AM with BIYE

Ben has been enthralled by music his entire life, both on stage and as an enthusiastic audience member. Throughout elementary school, high school, and university, he’s taken many chances to participate in concert band, various musicals, and choir. He first became BEN AM (eh-em), however, in 2019, when he started composing his own music on his phone, experimenting with everything that GarageBand had to offer. Somewhat resistant to labelling himself with a specific genre, BEN AM blends jazz, rap, soul, hip-hop, and rock. His passion for making music is fuelled by the talented artists and musicians he is able to collaborate with.
