Coaching / New Members / Intro Day

Coaching and club introduction day for anyone who wants to experience archery and as part of our requirements for anyone wishing to become a full member of Pacific Bowmen Gold Coast.

Adults - $60.
Children under 18 years - $40.
Cash only, paid on the day - Receipt given.


7.45am sharp start
• Enclosed shoes must be worn.
• Please bring a hat, sunscreen and a full water bottle.

If you have your own gear please bring it along (Bow inspection required).

Children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

7:45am - Registration and equipment issued
8:00am - Safety induction
8:30am - Bow and arrow familiarization
9:00am - Discussion on correct form, bow grip, anchor point, aiming and explaining gap shooting
9.15am - On the range practice - explaining safety line procedure and shooting safely with one-on-one instruction
10:00am - Legal requirements discussion
10:15am - Back on the practice range
10:45 to 11:30 - Tryout on lower range (time and weather permitting)
11:30 - Finish and feed back
